After a long day sometimes all you want to do is sit, enjoy a good meal, sip on your favorite cocktail and maybe hang out with friends. Any given night at Tempest is a good night to do so. With a name like Tempest you may be shocked to walk through the doors and find a relaxing and easy flowing atmosphere, a place where "You enjoy intimate conversations with good friends, warm lighting, exquisetly prepared morsels of dining delight, and a cocktail.... The way cocktails used to be prepared for those cocktail parties of years gone by.".

A few of your favorite Daymakers moseyed on into the lounge last Thursday and enjoyed fantastic live music all while gobbling down some of their to die for menu items. We bathed in the melodious sounds of Julian Moon as well as enjoyed some of the cookies that people all over Tacoma are talking about. If you're looking for a nice place to chill and enjoy an evening, Tempest is a good place to start.

One of Our Favorite Watering Holes

Voted Best in Western Washington's Best Gay and Lesbian Bar, The Mix is one of our favorite places to unwind after a long day. This charming Tacoma staple has won the hearts of many Tacoma peeps. This is the bar people rave about when they're in other bars. We have regular clients that are regulars at the bar and we all share the fantastic times we all have had there.

We all remember a time when if you asked if they served food, you'd get handed a menu for PSP or offered a bag of microwaved popcorn. Now, they're serving delicious treats provided by Pacific Grill but still have the option of ordering a delicious pizza from next door.

The Mix has grown from being the dream of two very determined business owners to being a bar that everyone loves to go to. Congratulations on all of your successes Brock and Jonathan!!

It's Soooooo Surreal!!!

If you haven't heard yet, two of our Embellish team members are also a part of the Surreal Ultra Lounge Team. After making people's days, Susan and Melanie gallivant off to Surreal to make days in other ways. With the flash of a smile and a wink if you're lucky, Susan can pour you mean Surreal signature drink or a creative martini and Melanie will serve you with that same sparkling smile that you've seen her flash while behind the front desk at Embellish.With Tacoma's growing interest in the lounge you're sure to hear that it's something that Tacoma's never seen before. With multiple VIP areas and a customer service focused bar staff, good times will be had no matter what day of the week you decide to drop in.

As of now, Surreal has been focused on building up their weekends and will soon have promotional nights during the week. They've brought in the likes of DJ Teddy who is now hosting Surreal's "Epic Friday", Pure Productions who will be rockin' out "Truth Thursdays" and local and out of town guest DJs to spice up their line up. After only being open for 2 weeks, Tacoma has been all-a-buzz with compliments on their impeccable service, a fun but relaxing atmosphere and a unique menu of sliders and appetizers that's bound the send your taste buds soaring!!
