Warming up November: Art at Work

Get excited! It's November, and here in Tacoma that means Art at Work.

Through the month we'll bring you pieces on local artists who are part of this fabulous event. Today's piece we're pleased to present one of our clients.
Jennevieve Schlemmer, a Tacoma resident for eight years, can't remember when she didn't want to be an artist. She received a degree in scuplting 11 years ago; her current medium is wool. Jennevieve says she works with wool because it is sustainable, eco-friendly. She states the only thing that holds her back from creating anything she wants with wool is her own creativity.


Jennevieve is based out of Tacoma Art Place for the Art at Work month. After that, she can be found in her home studio. She'll be teaching 2 felting classes at TAP for the tour and will also be doing felting demos during the studio tours. Cost: $20 for TAP Members, an additional $10 day pass for Non-members

Cost: $65 for TAP Members, an additional $10 day pass for Non-members

I had the privilege of visiting Embellish for the first time a couple weeks ago and I must say I was very satisfied. I met Eleanor for the first time for a hair cut and I have to say....I love the cut! I have been going to the same person for past 6 yrs and even though I really like her I have never been this happy with a cut...Thanks Eleanor and to the person @ the salon that thought we would be a good match.
